Metric Mobility Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Barrys Coaches Shuttle mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when employees use the App as part of a company-provided shuttle transport service. 

The App is intended solely for authorised employees of participating companies and is used in conjunction with shuttle bus services operated by Barrys Coaches.

What We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data

Information Provided by the User

• No personal information is collected from passengers.

• The company details will be recorded.

• QR code assigned to the company for shuttle access and validation.

Automatically Collected Information

• Location data of the shuttle vehicle (not the personal location of the passenger), used to provide live bus tracking. This information is collected from the device used by Barrys Coaches.

• App usage data (e.g. app interactions, error logs).

• Device information (device model, operating system version).

The App does not collect contacts, photos, microphone input, or unrelated personal data.

How We Use Data

We use personal data to

• To provide access to shuttle services using QR code validation

• To display shuttle routes, timetables, and service updates

• To provide real-time tracking of shuttle buses

• To communicate service-related notifications

• To maintain app functionality, performance, and security

We do not use personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Location Data

The App displays real-time shuttle vehicle location to passengers.

It does not track or store the real-time location of individual users.

Location data is used only during active shuttle services and only to improve passenger information and service reliability.

Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to:

• Provide shuttle services

• Meet contractual, operational, or legal obligations

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data.

Data may be shared only with:

• Barrys Coaches (The shuttle service).

• Technology service providers supporting app hosting, analytics, or system operation.

• Authorities, if required by law or regulation.

All third parties are required to handle data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
